Research shows that a lot of people, especially children, who are obese, come from poorer socio-economic backgrounds. But “fitness” and being “healthy” don’t have to be exclusively for the more wealthy people of the country. We need better education. And here are some suggestions to help anyone who may be struggling. You do not need an expensive David Lloyd’s gym membership or to eat Waitrose Organic food every day. Far from it. All exercise is near enough free and the cheapest gym memberships are around a tenner for 24/7 access (go use their showers and keep your water bill down as well lol) I hope this helps, and if you have any further suggestions to add to the list then drop them below in the comments 👊🏻

🌸SUPER EASY VEGAN DONUTS 🍩 Never thought donuts, especially vegan ones, can be so easy and quick to make 😍 use this recipe for over or special machine backed donuts - you will love them and it can be a good little Christmas treat for those vegans out there 😜 * 1 and 1/2 cups (190g) All Purpose Flour * 3/4 cup (150g) White Sugar * 2 tsp Baking Powder * 1/4 tsp Salt * 1/2 tsp Cinnamon * 1/4 tsp Nutmeg * 3/4 cup (180ml) Almond milk * 1 tsp Vanilla Extract * 2 Tbsp Applesauce * 5 Tbsp Vegan Butter (just oil spread that you can buy anywhere) (Melted) 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C . Prepare two donut trays by spraying with non-stick spray. Set aside. 2. Sift the flour into a mixing bowl and add the sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. 3. Mix together. 4. Add the almond milk, vanilla, applesauce and melted vegan butter and whisk in, removing any large lumps. 5. Place the donut batter into the donut partitions evenly. 6. Bake for 15 minutes until lightly browned on top. For my pink and white glaze I simply used powdered sugar and water. Topped with coconut crisps , puffed quinoa from @indigo_herbs , rose petals, almonds. Tip: take your pics when it’s nice and shiny and not when it’s dried 🙈😁🤷🏽‍♀️

These damaged fibers require protein to both repair(decrease breakdown) and rebuild(increase synthesis), making protein a top priority after training, however protein is not the only concern post training. During sessions, stored carbohydrates can be depleted. Stored carbohydrates(glycogen) is our body's main source of fuel. When that becomes depleted our body will prioritise replenishing these stores, our body can turn amino acids(protein) to glycogen via the liver but obviously we want this protein to repair and grow muscles torn in training meaning that during the post workout period both protein and carbohydrates become equally important. Protein to repair and build muscle. Carbs to replenish energy stores. Fats slow down digestion, so ideally they should be kept out of our post workout meal. 2.5 weeks of hard work 🙌🏼 This amazing girl right here already had a great physique, but just needed some guidance in the eating department. The results you see here isn’t just fat loss. 8 weeks of hard work. A completely different looking physique, but only 2kg down on the scales. This right here is exactly why you shouldn’t rely on scales alone to determine whether or not you’re losing weight. Scales cannot tell you how much body fat, muscle, or fluid your body contains, yet funnily enough, we spend so much time worrying about our weight. My advice? Take photos, so you can see the difference. Pick a specific outfit you want to wear, and try it on every month to see if it fits. Ignore scales!!!
