Splitting my time between cellar work and international sales can be a tricky balancing act. It’s particularly difficult when I can’t try the wines as often as I would like. Our temporary solution is to get samples sent over. It’s not ideal but much cheaper and more environmentally friendly than me hopping on a plane and gives me the chance to see how wines are developing. Can’t begin to tell you how much of a relief it is when they taste as good (or better) than you remember!
