The topic of "toxic perfectionism" is twofold here:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Part 1: My work centers around FEELING your feelings, no matter how dark, deep, or scary. Holding so tightly onto positivity when that’s not how you actually feel, is a form of toxic perfectionism that is unfortunately encouraged in many areas of society - and especially in new age manifestation rhetoric. This will block your manifesions from coming in because you will continue projecting the same blocks, and even worse, it may make you feel emotionally repressed. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you continue to "hold the positive vibration" and ignore your emotions & triggers, you'll hear crickets, receive tests, or you might be presented with a metaphorical cliff by the universe in order to get you back to your authentic, whole, worthy self. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Part 2: We are all human - we make "mistakes" (really just opportunities for stepping into our worth), run into the fire more times than we would like, catch ourselves reverting back to old patterning, etc. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Please do not beat yourself up! This is an opportunity to let go of toxic perfectionism, show yourself kindness, to forgive yourself + others, recognize actionable steps you can take to make healthier decisions the next time you are faced with a similar situation, and also to subconsciously reprogram. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
