Back in the Blue in Yellow of WSEH athletics club tomorrow in a slightly different form. An outdoor workout when it’s so cold? 🥶 Don't worry, Oath of Kings will make you warm in no time. 🔥 We will start with 5 Burpees and 25 Squat Jumps when the GOLIAZ Voice tells us to run, we start covering 50m Walls (a Wall is one way from the start to the finish line) forth and back. 🏃 With each round, we will do one Burpee more and one Squat Jump less. What a great workout at the track coach @wandurban - I love circuits! Jumping, weights, pushing, pulling... sweating! I was so hot with my long-sleeve top as I was dressed to run outside. When it comes to training the hamstring from a knee flexion position this variation is one of my favorites due to the posterior involvement and lower risk of drifting into a loaded position of lumbar extension. @preparetoperform dropped in today and discussed the complexity of adding breath work to it. . “It creates an opportunity for us to add another layer of stimulus to the movement. Matching the breath tempo to the movement tempo allows for a sustained focus on executing the movement properly (especially important for me as this my first time trying it) as well as regulating trunk pressure which helps to stabilize the spine and disallow local compensation. .
