Week 2 of my marathon training is going well. I have been concentrated into speed and tonight I went to get some 1min surges done. Nothing easy and the wild weather (blustery and rain) didn't make anything easy. Still I loved it! 🤩 This time of the year it is easy to let running go and also get depressed. Even the strong ones can feel down. There is nothing wrong to feel low but if you do, make sure you acknowledge it and try to do something for it. That’s why with the majority of movements I do in the gym, speed and intent of that movement is usually a big factor 💨 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In the video, the set I am doing involves change of direction, plyometrics and a balance drill ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ These are more complex movements, stripping back and building a base with the basics first, is going to be far more beneficial than jumping into the cool movements that look good.
