d) • Pitch — #Contemporaryphotography since 2010, willingly #lofi then expressive, started in #Budapest, Hungary, now in #Toulouse, France. #Phone (#smartphone) made: for the #instinct, the #DIY approach. Leaning on #mythology-ies, personal #reverie and #opticlanguage dynamics. A vivid journal — Granulous, combinatory, urban... Many #series. Micro-tales. I do exhibitions and create albums. I am also a workshop facilitator for expressivity. My intent is to make strong images. And stories. That speak to the unconscious. I want them nervous and storytelling oriented.
e) • I live and work in Toulouse after a long stay in Budapest, where I started shooting Gypsies and what appears to be a strong and singular city. I am fascinated by narrative and visual approaches that combine: (1) dreams and obsessions, with (2) visual storytelling based such as American creators Will Eisner's and Scott McCloud's, French genius Antoine Dagata « to the end of the night » ones, with their own optic language and dramatic dynamics, and (3) — intellect wise — everything that the depth psychology « d'expression francophone » (French speaking, or at least European one) set up during the past century regarding imagination and the continuous bridge between individual body / unconscious response and collective dramaturgy / production of myths. (See Mircea Eliade, Gilbert Durand, Charles Baudouin, Georges Dumezil.) My angles are made of instinct, depth psychology thematics (inner storytelling of personal mythologies) and willingly low-def and low-tech devices, to increase expressivity, to connect brain, guts, sex, heart, faith and intimate tales.
