Nature holds the key to our aesthetic, intellectual, cognitive and even spiritual satisfaction. ~E. O. Wilson
My last few trips to the tallgrass prairie, I had it all to myself.
Cars were in the parking lot of the nature center but the call of the tallgrass wasn’t heard by their owners.
Too often we look for the big picture and when we don’t see it we feel there’s nothing there.
If we just slow down and really look, I mean REALLY look there is SO much that we sailed past in our journey to find the big picture.
The more time I spend in nature and the more time I take to really try and see it, the more wonderful things I discover.
How many people would just walk past this milkweed pod without really seeing it?
My 2020 will be spent doing a lot more looking in depth at nature. I have a feeling that it will be a year of never ending discoveries!
