2009 -> 2019. Fitting in one last post of the year & decade in the couple hours left 😱 .
What 2019 Vuitton would tell the girl on the left: that her life after a decade will not turn out exactly as she planned, if anything, it turned out even better. There’s been many ‘fails’, but equally as much success. I’ve travelled to many of my bucket list cities/experiences, ate some really amazing dishes, a decent cook now (if I do say so myself 🤣👩🏻🍳), gained more self-confidence + happy to have helped younger youth do the same in my passion projects, loved + loved in return, connected with individuals that formed lifelong relationships, created foundations in this decade to really push forward my career goals for where I want to be in 2020 and onwards, and oh, have slightly better skin now than 10 years ago lol *hair flip* 💁🏻♀️ .
Some things that were prominent for me this year amidst highs, lows, loss of a loved one to cancer, and milestones:
Patience and space is one of the best gifts we can give. Sometimes we just need to forgive without asking further questions - going back to said patience + space. Always remember, you once dreamed of where you are now, and in the future you may wish you can have back where you currently are. So make the present count - enjoy it instead of dwelling on the past, or chasing the future ♥️ .
Here’s to 2020, a new decade, a new year, best of luck and wishes! Time for the celebrations 🎉 🥳
