Do you need to track your calories to make progress?
No. You do not.
There are many ways to skin the cat…. but whether you track them or you don’t calories still exist so tracking and weighing your food through apps like MyFitnessPal can be a great tool to help keep you accountable and further your education around food.
It doesn’t have to be forever it's just a tool to aid you towards your goal and for those who argue that tracking is obsessive, tracking calories on MFP is no more “obsessive” than checking your bank balance. If you’re part of the small % who does get obsessive then don’t track. Simple.

Do you prepare for the week ahead? If not give it a try sometime. Meal prepping and mapping out goals to accomplish for the week can be very productive.
Never work towards a perfect body; not getting there will always disappoint us.
Instead, aim to feel proud of making progress, regardless of how much more we still have to go ♥️
