London, UK 🇬🇧 For those who only started following me more recently, I spent first semester in London back in 2015. Basically, Berkeley randomly chose around 50 of us who just finished high school literally months before to hop across the pond. Countless new memories later across 9 different countries, it was over in the blink of an eye. I remember exactly how upset I felt when I overlooked my last sunrise here, and how I vowed to return when my flight took off from Heathrow.
Well fast forward 4 years, and because of a twist of fate (Traveling from Argentina-> Europe being cheaper than Argentina-> USA), I was able to make my return. Going to the same parks where I found solace and to the buildings where I made countless memories really made this a nostalgic stay for me. But more importantly, it made me reflect on how much I’ve changed since I first navigated this city back when I was 18. I barely knew who I was (except for the desire to see the world bit, that has always been there), but 4 years is a long time. The journey continues, but all I can do is pat myself on the back for all the hard work I’ve done to improve myself so far.
After countless adventures across 50 countries these past 4 years, I’m so happy to have been able to revisit the country that started my international adventure.
Until next time, London ❤️
