Lions RB Kerryon Johnson (knee) is reportedly on pace to return from IR ahead of Detroit's Week 16 matchup against the Denver Broncos, per Kyle Meinke of MLive.
Even with Johnson having a strong string of practices and reportedly nearing full strength, it comes as a bit of a surprise that the Lions will be allowing the notoriously injury-ridden RB to return with nothing left to play for.
From a fantasy perspective, Johnson should certainly be on a roster heading into this week and would realistically position himself as a mid-RB2 option should he be active next week. Kenny Golladay and Danny Amendola see a slight uptick in overall value, upside, and security for the foreseeable future thanks to a more with Johnson in the lineup.
