Guess what this is for #bahahaha. (Nearly) Max effort Hip Thruster/ Glute Raises on the 2D Smith Machine. 8 reps of 250lb plus the Smith bar weight. I hate getting spotters but couldn't have done this one without them. Day 1 all over again. I'm not afraid to start over. Been dealing with personal stuff, I had been the most stressed out I've ever been in my life. Discovered that it's much easier to explain to people how to deal with stress than to deal with stress myself. Took a much needed break and spent what 36 hours in bed. I have the privilege to be able to take such a break though, right at the beginning of the week and I'm thankful for that. Day one again. Vertical leap is still my most important goal. It's probably at 28 inches at this point, should be jumping at least a foot higher if I wanna be thought of as seriously as I wanna be. Been probably at the same mark for a while now though my knowledge and technique have improved tremendously; still can't train consistently and I'm banged up really bad, never had enough for surgery or physiotherapy. If I ever get there it would be because I am too stubborn to give up, and I'm not even sure if working hard is even something that's natural to me; I'm not even sure why or even how I'm grinding like this. Took long breaks. Yes. Anxiety got the better of me. Maybe I'll never actually do the 1000 days, it's funny. Day 2. Finally got this done, had been trying this height for a while now. The sad part is that it came for a price, it took watching someone else do this easily before I gathered the courage to jump. Demotivated because suddenly this isn't a sizable achievement at all. Day 1 of 1000. This is where it starts. Funny how I had nearly all the information that I'd needed to start this sooner but somehow I didn't. I had been trying to do handstands since I discovered calisthenics in Multifit. Never even occurred to me to try them without support from a wall till about two hours back. You can't lean forever, I mean you definitely can if you just want to lean forever maybe. All those wasted months man. Day 0(5). Fell asleep by accident around 6pm and didn't really wake up till 5am haha, so yeah I ended up missing another day. This is what I ate on Sunday. Rice with chickpeas and tomato plus every spice known to mankind that's available at home (namely coriander, pepper and red chilli) with garlic and onions. Did I mention tomatoes?
