Ever thought of what Singapore will be like in 5-10 years time?
A more compassionate, inclusive society I hope.
I've always been interested in the relationship between mental well-being (of individual and community) and the expectations of society. How can we achieve a healthy mind and soul, in the stressful conditions we live in?
I did not grow up with the social media platforms that we have now. I was marching to the beat of my own drum. Youngsters now have much to compare and judge their lives to those of their friends through the usage of these social media platforms. Have you ever felt the pressure to match up, to conform? Or do they allow you greater space to be who you are? Cyberspace is affecting our social life. How do we find sanity from it all?
As young Singaporeans, you have the power and responsibility to ensure our nation continues to be a lovely home for all.
Spark The Next: School hangout invites youths to share their vision for Singapore. There will be roadshows organised at various schools where there are numerous activities (such as free bubble tea,
Somerset Belt Prototype Wall, quizzes to win limited edition merchandise) to engage participants.
I will be attending a sharing session tomorrow at NUS Utown plaza, from 11am to 12pm, to share more about my hopes and dreams for Singapore.
I would like to hear from you too so, do join us for an enriching session with fun activities to participate in and attractive prizes to be won. 😊
